Fitness is an inside job.
Health, wellness, fitness, are all determined by how well you are on the inside.
For muscle, blood, nerves, brain, and every organ in your system to work well they need to be serviced. Just like the car. The service needs to be regular. Frequent.
Then, like the car, the body runs well, is durable, and is resistant to breakdowns; colds, fatigue, illness.
When you do this, the mind works well too. We all know that the body is influenced by the mind.
But not everybody knows that the mind is also hugely influenced by the body.
When the body is tired, a bit rundown, out of sorts, life can be tough. Routine becomes hard work. Small jobs become big chores. We get tired physically and mentally. Even thinking of having to do something becomes daunting.
A good sound basic fitness changes all that.
You don’t have to be a four minute miler, a marathon runner, or a gym bunny. You just need to get, and to keep, your internal self in good order.
That's not difficult. It's simple, not always easy, but simple.
It's much more simple than most people think. Basic health practices, done at home, in the office, in the kitchen, or in the gym, can establish and maintain a healthy vitality that makes the difference between just existing, and really living.
When you’re basically fit, healthy, and well, you do things, you try things, and you achieve things, that you would never otherwise do.
