In the world of psychology it's believed that we have somewhere in the region of 60,000- 90,000 thoughts a day flitting through our poor heads.
That's heavy traffic. It'd be hard to spot one of them, slow it down for a moment and examine it, wouldn't it? That's a mean of about 3,000 thoughts an hour, over 50 thoughts a minute.
That's a lot of activity for the brain to process. It's no wonder we get tired, distracted, disillusioned.
The art of concentration would appear to be a lost cause.
Yet, there are people who are managing to focus, to think, to attend to their tasks and goals and getting on with their business.
That's a skill.
Like any skill, it has its fundamentals.
They can be learned.
In fact, they ARE being learned, and applied.
