1. Keeping healthy in this day and age is a relatively simple skill. You just need to implement a few simple strategies during the course of the day. The first is to acknowledge that by keeping yourself good condition you’re well enough to look after those near and dear to you.
Just like when the ship is sinking, get your own life jacket on first, then you can float and save everybody else.
2. Create a simple routine that you can follow so that you don’t stagnate at the desk.
Getting up and moving around at odd times is good, but unless you have it as part of your routine, you’ll forget about it when you’re busy.
Get a routine. Keep it simple.
Set your alarm, for instance, four times a day to stand, stretch, and breathe. That will take about 6 to 8 minutes of your whole day. Which gives you 23 hours and about 52 minutes to do what you like with.
3.Sip water during the day. Boil it and let it cool. Drink it when it’s warm. Warm water defuses more readily throughout the system and to keep you efficiently hydrated.
Every organ in your body needs hydration. Brain cells are instantly affected by dehydration and low oxygen levels. “Brain food” is not just some fanciful idea. Frequently, when people hydrate adequately, and breathe deeply, the infamous ‘afternoon dips ‘ in energy and concentration just as frequently disappear.
4. Kill the ‘Goo’.
Gooey cakes and buns, and sugary, starchy snacks drive your blood sugar levels into chaos.
This plays havoc with your energy patterns. Make sure you get a breakfast with some decent protein source.
Use fruit or protein bars for snacks.
5.Learn how to stop.Doing a few minutes relaxing, really letting go, can be one of the most rewarding practices you could bring into your life. You'll feel better, be much more at ease, and you'll lessen the inappropriate stress in your days and nights.
Learning to still the mind, and quieten the emotions, is what allows your immune system to play its part in your life.
