Speaking to a small gathering the other night, I was struck by the common dominant factor of the group.
Having had the privilege of dealing with them as individuals as well, I knew that each of them had an acute awareness of the importance of mental fitness as well as physical fitness.
All of these people experienced success in their chosen fields.
And this was appropriate, because a piece of research that was being referenced had ‘STATE of MIND’ as the most important contributory factor to a good life.
What got clarified was the necessity of being acutely conscious of how we can access, influence, and direct our thinking in the pursuit of our Life’s aims.
It sharply defined the difference between Positive Thinking and Wishful Thinking.
Sometimes we need to stop, consider, and re-evaluate which of the two we’re doing.
It’s a simple but profound distinction.
My thanks to the group of the evening, for your attendance, and more so for your generous and valuable input.
