Everything begins with the decision. A lot of decisions are unconscious. That’s when we see the power of them.
Lighting up the next cigarette is a decision, and we’re often not aware that it is.
When we become aware, however, we then consider whether or not we will light that cigarette, or have the next drink, or stay in bed longer, and 1,000,001 other things to which we have become habituated.
What unconscious decisions are running your life?
How do they affect you?
Exercising is a decision. Breathing well is a decision. Eating well is it decision.
“Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.“
What could you decide right now, this minute, that would benefit your life?
Can you think of some small change that could make a huge difference?
The change in direction at this point might be small, but as you persist with it over days, weeks, even months, your life will take a whole new direction.
Two elements will decide the decision and the direction. Those two elements are qualities we all possess but perhaps don’t use as much as we could: courage and persistence.
Have you the courage of your conviction? Your belief?
Have you the quality of persistence, day in, day out, to do it?
I believe we all have. We just need to take the time, look at our lives evaluate our existence, and take a decision.
What do you think?
