Over the years there are two things that have been common to the successful completion of any undertaking. These are consciously applied strategies and can be used in any area of performance.
When we search for the qualities within ourselves that help us perform to optimum level we need to be consistent. One proven way to do this Is it to ask the right question.
All too often we ask ourselves “why did this happen to me?“, Or or “how did this come about?“, Or “what have I done wrong now?“.
Once the situation is established, what’s important is to decide how to fix it.
Wondering what brought it about, who was responsible, what we did wrong, or why it happened to us, brings us nowhere near a solution.
So the question we ask ourselves is all important. “How can…?”., followed by a directive, is one sure way to point the mind is a direction of a solution.
For example, “how can I fix this?”, “How can I respond to this?”, “How can we find a way through this?”, “Who could handle this?”, “How would she/he go about it? “. These are questions that send the mind in search of a solution.
It’s like pressing “Google“ on the mind. By asking those questions the mind goes in search of an answer. We don’t have to know what the answer is at this moment. But it helps greatly by acknowledging the fact that there is a solution. Once we see that, then all we have to do is find it, or a way to it.But the fact that we know there is a solution, a way through, a light at the far end of the tunnel, however dim it may be, we tend to be less overwhelmed by the difficulty. Our thinking is clearer and our response more thoughtful and effective.
That’s strategy one: ask the right question of yourself, and the make sure you take the time to answer it. You might have it straight away.
Or you may have to search.
But do it. Strategy two will be for the next day.
Have a Great Day and Do Well..
