Quite a few people have been asking about the significance of posture in daily life.
If your posture is out of alignment, there's a strain on the skeletal muscles and on the organs trying to feed them. Ligaments and tendons are tense. Breathing is restricted. Muscles become tight. Blood vessels are constricted. Circulation slows down. Over time it will be impossible for the body to continue to function.
This may give rise to high blood pressure. The system will be starved of oxygen and nutrients. It accumulates wastes and toxins. This forms the breeding ground for free radicals and rogue cells to contaminate and debilitate the body, and the systems needed to let it live.
The mind becomes aware of this and relays the information back into the body, creating the cause for alarm and the Stress Response, thus perpetuating the condition.
There really is more to being well than just not being sick.
We need to work from the inside out.
We need to begin with the basics.
We need to learn them, and then more importantly, apply them.
This is normal. Not only is it normal, it’s natural.
