The Evening Herald, 11th July 2006

This article is about Terry Rooney, who took up a challenge on the Tom Branagan show on Irish radio station "Dublin's 98".
David Hegarty featured on the show.
Terry says...
"...I was overweight, tired, rundown, and really out of shape... there seemed so much to think about, so much to consider, I wasn't sure where to start"
"David outlined the programme, a mind-body course to improve and protect health and to enhance life. I told him of my life and aspirations; he listened, wrote notes and put a proposal to me : He'd teach, I'd listen and learn, and above all, practice."
"It was probably one of the most important, and greatest decisions of my life"
"My belief in life and in my own ability to achieve, took off. Circumstances in every aspect of my life improved. Things I'd been thinking about, but had always put off, began to take place. With David's help, I started doing what I'd been thinking about for years."
"I was losing weight, toning up, and getting a lot more energy in my life. Stress levels were dropping. Life was getting better."
"...it wasn't difficult. It was natural, simple and very practical, so I could live with the changes and enjoy life all the more."
"The entire experience is one I'd recommend to anyone"

News of the World

Soccer enthusiast Keith Roche has beaten the asthma that crippled his game. Now Keith, 21, an apprentice electrician from Ballymun, Dublin, is a member of the second squad in the city's famous Home Farm team. He said: "I have always loved football, but when I played I found it very difficult to to complete a full match. I would be wheezing and gasping for air. "No way would I be able to join in the celebrations if we won because all my efforts would be going into trying to breathe again."
Then Keith heard of the special Dynamic Health training technique.
He said "David taught me how to relax, take deep breaths and use my whole chest to take in air. After a few months my whole life has been transformed."
"Now instead of being that guy with asthma who plays a bit of football, I am one of the lads."
WHAT THE PAPERS SAY
The
Sunday Business Post
"A lot of people come and go in the fitness
industry, because it's relatively new. But someone who is more enthusiastic than
he was over 40 years ago, is David Hegarty. That's just one of the reasons I
admire him.
He's a purist, as well as being one of the longest
established. He knows what it's all about, and conducts his business with
integrity. David Hegarty is what the fitness industry is all
about."
The Sunday Independent
"The secret of good health is
much simpler than you think… Hegarty’s no-nonsense approach is a breath of fresh
air…. no mystery to good health… people tell him they never thought it could be
so simple… no gimmicks… plain-speaking advice… anyone who follows will see a
difference... guaranteed."
The
Daily Star
"At long last, a book full of sense... begins with the
easiest of exercises - standing straight. David takes a very different approach.
The diagrams he uses are great for explaining. These are matters that will
interest people who work indoors and are subject to heaters and air
conditioners. For the benfit of those who have never exercised, he begins
slowly. Hegarty tackles the issue of diet... adds practical advice... so easy,
it doesn't even feel like a chore."
The
Sunday World
"This is a less painful method of getting fit and
improving your physical and mental health - reduce stress, improve concentration
and bestow a sense of well being... no hard exercise, no loud music, no
impossible diets - you can turn your body into a trim fit unit... can even be
practised in your car, in the office or on the bus..."
