       VITAMINS…to take , or not to take…?
To take or not to take, that indeed, is the question.

There are people who take vitamin tablets very regularly. There are those who wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.

Who is right?  And why?

What are vitamins anyway?

Vitamins are substances that we get from food to help regulate the growth, maintenance, and repair of the cells of the body.
.
We get vitamins from all kinds of food . Fruit and vegetables supply copious amounts of vitamin.

Or at least they should.

But a lot of the vitamin and mineral content of fruit and veg at tables is destroyed by insecticides, pesticides, and all kinds of protective chemicals to make the food palatable.

On top of that by the time the food is stored, cooked, prepared and presented on the plate, it has little or nothing to do with what originally would have  been a great source of nourishment.

Subsequently, I believe it is important to make sure that we get a vitamin content in our diet from a multivitamin tablet. It might not be the preferred source of vitamin, but it helps the body chemistry take place, and that is all that the vitamin or mineral or trace element is required to do.

Over the years I have seen many, many, people begin to take  a multivitamin tablet every day, and over time, experience a new level of health, energy and well being.

I’ve taken a multivitamin every morning for over 50 years. Perhaps I could get my vitamins from the fruit and vegetables that I eat, and other foods as well, but I have enjoyed robust health, for which I am very grateful, and will keep doing what I believe has been a big contribution to it.

If you are so inclined to try one, get any of the major brands, and take it regularly every day. If you have a tendency to have a lot of iron in your system, you can say this to your vitamin supplier, and and  they’ll make sure to give you one without iron. Other than that, just ask if the full recommended daily allowance is are included.

The vitamin won’t do you any harm  and just may do you a tremendous amount of good.

There are thousands now using vitamins regularly and feeling the better for it. Try a multivitamin for three months, Let your system get used to it.

And then decide for yourself.
